Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the 22nd Annual International Congress of the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy in Berlin, one of the world's most up-and-coming cities, on 16-19 October 2013.
The slogan of our conference is also our common mission:
"Together we design the future of women's health".
It is a great pleasure to organize this European initiative in collaboration with the Forum Operative Gynaecology (FOG), the association of the German working groups on gynaecological surgery, and to host the congress of the German Academy of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians (DAGG).
These partnerships in synergy will allow us to face the universal challenge of providing global women's health of the future with state-of-the-art medicine, including all minimal invasive methods of diagnosis and treatment.
The DAGG, joining forces with the ESGE and the FOG, aims to tackle one of the greatest obstacles for modern women's health, namely the deficiency of optimal training and continuous education for the young generation of gynaecologists.
The ESGE and its German peer and Corporate Member, the Working Group Gynaecological Endoscopy (AGE) of the DGGG, who found each other in the field of scientific validated traning modalities, converted this part of their common mission into internationally certified education and training programmes for endoscopy.
This brings together a scientific mission and national validated training programmes in gynaecological surgery. State-of-the-art teaching and learning programmes in the entire field of women's health will complete the programme of this first joint congress. This event, rooted in international collegiality, can become an unforgettable milestone and a beacon for our future-oriented vision.
We greatly look forward to seeing you in Berlin.
