🧩 SIGs & Governance – Action Required in Your ESGE Profile

YEP members are encouraged to actively engage in ESGE scientific and governance activities through Special Interest Groups (SIGs).

What to Do

We kindly ask you to log in to your ESGE profile and:

  1. Select up to two SIGs you are interested in

  2. Opt in as a YEP member, if you wish to be considered for governance roles

    • Each SIG has a Steering Committee, which may include two YEP deputies.

    • Only YEP members who have opted in can be considered for these positions.

Selecting SIGs and opting in does not guarantee a role but ensures you are visible for future opportunities.

SIG Endometriosis Survey

The SIG Endometriosis is currently running a survey. YEP members and their colleagues are invited to take part.

Bridging the Gap: An ESGE Project on Endometriosis Imaging and Classification

The aim of this ESGE project is to bridge the gap between recommendations and reality by capturing current clinical practice across different levels of experience and subspecialties. By mapping this reality, the ESGE seeks to identify deficits and define targeted educational and structural measures that will support the implementation of recommendations in daily clinical work.

This anonymous survey addresses trainees, office- and hospital-based gynaecologists, fertility specialists, and imaging experts. Participants are explicitly encouraged to share the survey with colleagues in their professional environment. The broader and more representative the participation, the more accurately we can reflect clinical reality—and the more effectively the ESGE can initiate measures to improve training, implementation, and ultimately patient care.

The survey takes approximately 5–10 minutes to complete. The results will be scientifically analysed and published.
