Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is my great pleasure to announce that the Turkish Platform for Minimal Invasive Surgery (TPMIGS) has joined the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy as a Corporate Society. This means that the TPMIGS becomes the fifth corporate society of the ESGE and members of the TPMIGS become natural members of the ESGE. I have no doubt this is a positive development for both societies and will strengthen the links between the Turkish gynaecologists and the ESGE. The TPMIGS has had a long association with the ESGE and their participation as a corporate society will create a new platform for their members to participate in the activities of the ESGE more proactively.

This development comes as an addition to the recent accreditation of the Ankara GESEA Training Centre, based at Ufuk University earlier this year. The Ankara GESEA Training Centre was set up with financial support from the Foundation of Reproductive Medicine and Surgery of Turkiye and houses 10 GESEA training stations, making it one of the largest
training centres. The centre is expected to be accredited as a GESEA Diploma Centre in the spring of 2026.

I would like to congratulate both the TPMIGS and Society of Reproductive Medicine and Surgery and welcome them to the ESGE Community.
